Al-Mawaddat Centre Launches Redesigned Website

Al-Mawaddat Centre, KL has launched its redesigned website at www.almawaddat.org. Three years after its first website launch, the new designed offers readers a modern interface to access information about Al-Mawaddat Centre, events and programmes line up, news, articles, and all other useful information for students and community members studying/living in Malaysia, visitors and prospective migrants of our community.

The new website design offers the following new features:

  • The Home page now shows featured articles about the latest happening at Al-Mawaddat Centre. A column showing the upcoming events has been introduced on the right hand side of the page below the daily Prayer Times.
  • Readers are now offered seven languages to choose from to read the articles on the website including English, Arabic, French, Hindi, Farsi, Swahili and Urdu courtesy of Google Translation Services. Readers can select the desired language by clicking on the respective flag on the left side of the page.
  • Navigation menus have been improved to give readers easy access to sub menu articles.
  • Readers who wish to join our mailing list can easily fill in their name and email address and submit it from the home page.
  • The Gallergy has been improved allowing readers to view the photos using a lightbox by simply clicking on the photos in the respective galleries.
  • The Bulletin Archive can be accessed from the main menu that lists all the news, announcement and articles published by Al-Mawaddat Centre.
  • A Resources menu has been introduced in the main menu that gives readers access to local information including Monthly Prayer Times, information about Studying in Malaysia, useful external links and downloads.
  • The Contact Us form now allows those who wish to enquire with us to send a copy of their message to their own email address.

We encourage the youth of our community to write articles (however short) sharing anything in relation to activities at the centre, their studying in Malaysia, their personal experiences, etc.
